BEECHER IT IS

Tommy Beecher has not started a game since 2004, when he was a 17-year-old high school senior leading his school to a state championship in North Carolina.

But if South Carolina's season began today, Beecher would be the Gamecocks' starter.

DARTH DRUNK

Ok. So... maybe Garcia is more Anakin than Obi Wan Kenobi after all.

Late News. Not as in breaking. Late as in, I am posting it late.

University of South Carolina redshirt freshman quarterback Stephen Garcia has been suspended from the football team, Athletics Director Eric Hyman announced today.
"
Stephen Garcia broke University rules," said Hyman. "Therefore he is suspended from all team activities through August 15."

THANKS KPAGE...

We need to be distracted from the whole Garcia thing.
