So this is what the great 3rd year of the Steve Spurrier era is supposed to be?
For comparison, Lou Holtz went 9 and 3 in this third year.
My new prediction for for 2007? 6 and 6.
Are we really on the right track?

I subscribe to what Spurrier said about the third year...the thing about Lou is that the team was up, them he lost control towards the end. Lou was quoted in ESPN magazine saying that he let off...Now, I think next year will be the watermark year of the Spurrier era. But how many years can he expect to play the "we're not that good" card before folks in Columbia get tired? We shall see...it is heartbreaking to see Carolina fall apart after a decent start to the season.
The thing is, how are we different right now? We are not. We could have gone 6 and 6 with any coach in the country this year.
I hope I am wrong but with Tebow next week, Spiller and Davis after that and a SC defense that can't seem to figure out the run game... I don't see us winning another game.
My problem is that I bought in and I was excited about the team...
I bought into it as well...
But hey - it's not our time to do it, obviously.
